WHAT IS INCLUDED?
- We have booked a few beach homes at a retreat centre right on the water.
- 3 Nights accommodation, 8 meals and all your activities.
- Lodging options are the choice between a bunk bed or upgrade to a queen sized bed.
- As we don’t know exact numbers of attendees yet, the place you stay at may be different than the photos if we need to book additional lodging to accommodate more attendees.
- Please note that transportation to/from the retreat centre is not covered in the cost.
- Everyone will have their own beds and women will be paired in rooms with other women and men will be paired with other men.

From strolling along the beach, to pool hangs, bible studies, basketball courts, volleyball courts, gaga ball, icebreakers, game nights, family dinners & so much more, there will not be a shortage of activities. We will organize structured facilitated activities and also allow for some free time to explore on your own with likeminded Christian Singles.

I’m so thankful for Michelle and The Christian Singles Hub. I have never been around such a wonderful group of Godly men and women in the same life stage. Sharing meals together, learning about one another’s lives and interests was so interesting and fun. Of course, there are always a few you bond with immediately and that is a God ordained moment. Beautiful venue, stunning beaches & view made for a relaxing retreat. It’s not often easy to share your testimony with those you do not know but the bond we all shared made it easy and freeing. One of my most memorable moments was praying for one another. There was a tangible presence of the Holy Spirit that was so powerful I didn’t want to leave that moment! I treasure the new friendships and bonds made through this retreat!

The weekend retreat was a life-changing experience for me and it’s a weekend I will always remember. It was such a powerful time where God showed up and I saw Him speak to me through the worship time and the time of sharing among others. I was touched by other’s stories and how I could relate to them and their struggles and victories. The last night, I also received prayer God heal me from some of the physical chronic back pain I had been experiencing prior to walking into the retreat. It was a powerful time of prayer and communion and laying things before the Lord and watching Him heal bodies, minds, and hearts. It was one of the best weekends I think I have ever had and I will always remember the takeaways and blessings it brought me and the amazing godly community I now have as a result of the weekend retreat. I highly recommend coming to any retreats and events as you will walk away with feeling more like a family with people who were strangers walking in and you can see God at work which is such a beautiful thing.

This was my first solo trip. For the last couple of years God has really been challenging me to get out my comfort zone. I was interested in the retreat when I heard about it, but I didn't think it was possible for me to go, it just felt like there were too many things to overcome even beyond my own fears. But God assured me I was going. He met me where I was at. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but everyone was so welcoming. I loved that the activities made it easy to connect with each other instead of it feeling awkward, and even though as an introvert I thought I might have to force myself to participate it didn't feel forced at all. On Saturday evening I received prayer, part of which was over my identity in Christ and for my healing.
I enjoyed every minute of the retreat and I didn't want it to end. When my uncle picked me up at the airport, he didn't recognize me. At the time I thought it was because I was wearing my glasses, but God revealed me later that I was carrying myself differently. I know that God used my yes to change me and start to build a new confidence in me, and to show me that with Him I truly can do anything, even if it feels impossible. I now know for certain that when God tells me something is going to happen, it will. If you're feeling like you want to attend a retreat and that God is saying to, give Him you're yes even if its out of your comfort zone and just watch what He will do with it. Michelle and Douglas are truly doing God's work for singles and I can't wait to see what He does through them next.
FAQs About The Florida Retreat
We have two separate accommodations booked. One place has 5 bedroom / 3 queen beds / 16 bunks / 4.5 bathrooms, and the other has 2 queen beds, 17 bunks / 3 bathrooms. All the rooms are configurd differently so you could be sharing with one other person or 5 other people. It is really dependant on how many people book and how many of each gender how this will be layed out.

The Florida retreat is open to adults aged 21 and older. Majority of our age demographic tends to fall into late 20′ – late 40’s, although there has been people outside of this age range who had a common desire to enjoy a weekend of adventure, fun, and connecting with like-minded individuals and they never felt out of place.

No Refunds Are Allowed! We do not allow refunds as once you sign up your spot is confirmed and paid for, however we are happy for you to gift your spot to someone of the same gender.

The retreat center can accommodate a limited quantity of dietary requests including vegetarian, vegan, non-gluten, and non-dairy diets.
Such requests must be communicated at least 10 days prior to arrival.
Other allergies, intolerances, and preferences cannot be accommodated.
Their kitchen facilities are not allergen free; even with extensive employee training there remains risk of contamination. It is also possible that commercial food manufacturers may change formulation of foods at any time, without notice.
Although romantic relationships have been an outcome at retreats, we suggest not going in with this mentality. Enjoy the experience, make new friends, have a ton of fun and make amazing memories.
