VIRTUAL SPEED DATING EVENTS

We run the Speed Dating events on a third party platform. Once you pay for the event you will recieve a confirmation link and code to use, but if you don't you will receive an email the week of the event. 

Before the event, you will need to install an app called Filteroff. This app can be accessed on iOS, Android, or the Web.  Once you have taken this step, you will create a profile and will receive a specialized code for our private speed dating event. You will then enter the code into the app and RSVP to our event.  Please note that Filteroff handles the scheduling, matching, and notifications through your device. Filteroff matches our attendees based on age and gender preference, so be mindful that specific filters may narrow your matches significantly. 

During your time at the event, you have the chance to be matched with up to 10 different Christian Singles and will have six minutes to connect with the individual. The app will provide you with a "MATCH" button at which time you can choose to match with this person, or not.  Please do not skip dates, I know it may be tempting but think of the person on the other side of the screen. 

If the event has unequal numbers of attendees, you may experience a short waiting period between rooms. However, please remember that several potential matches await you in the following rounds. One of the concerns that we often hear before attending a Speed Dating event, is that many females fear that the women to men ratio may be lopsided. Although more females may attend these events, please be assured that we have at least a 60:40 ratio of females to males in order to proceed with the event. 

Before starting, please be in a quiet environment with good internet where you have no distractions and are free to have an open conversation.

 We recommend following up with your matches within the first 48 hours following the vent. MEN! Please remember, chivalry is not dead. 

 **Please note: Inclusivity is important to us and we make it our mission to ensure that every event is a safe space for all. We have a strict zero tolerance policy against poor etiquette of any kind, including leaving the event at any point once it’s started. By purchasing a ticket, you are committing to staying for the entire duration of the event and participating in each speed date, just like you would in person.

Are these events held for specific locations only?

No. your date may not be in close proximity to your location. However, we have had the pleasure of introducing some amazing couples that have lived in different areas. As our database grows, we will begin to holding specific events for various areas. Please be sure to sign up for our FREE database which will give us insight into where everyone is located.

What timezone are the events held in?

Our events are based on the North American Central Time (CST), timezone. 

Am I guaranteed a match?  

No. We cannot guarantee that you will receive a match. Unfortunately, we have limited control over who signs up for the event , who shows up and cannot guarantee that you will hit if off with any person in attendance. We recommend that you go in with an open mind as you will have the opportunity to meet some incredible people. 

What is the age range for this event? 

This event is open to Males 30-45 & Females 25-38. We have tried to open this age range up but have found that we simply don't get enough sign ups. If you are out of this age range please let us know this is something you want- when we get enough interest we will absolutely host an event. Please keep in mind that the number of matches you will get will be based on how open you are within this age category. If you are 45 and only want to date 45 year olds this event may not be for you.

How long do the events run? 

Events typically run for one hour. However, please note that events tend to run late.

Will there be an even number of Men/Women?

We always strive to have an even number, but we have no control over those who choose not to show up. There is a possibility that there may be more of one gender than the other at the event. 

I can't make it, are there refunds? 

No, all ticket sales are final.
