Role Summary
We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented Matchmaking Assistant to support our Matchmaking Team in delivering a world-class experience to our clients. In this role, you will be the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps our matchmaking process running smoothly, from maintaining client profiles and researching compatible candidates, to pre screening potential matches, coordinating introductions and following up after dates. You will interact directly with clients, which means your communication style must be both professional and deeply compassionate. If you have a genuine heart for people, a high degree of emotional intelligence, and a passion for helping others find love, this role was made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Intake & Profile Management: Conduct intake interviews and questionnaires with new clients; capture detailed notes on preferences, values, faith background, dealbreakers, and relationship goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date profiles in our CRM.
  • Pre Screens For Potential Candidates: Conduct interviews to see if their is a potential match for our clients.
  • Candidate Research & Sourcing: Proactively search our database and approved external platforms to identify well-matched candidates for active clients. Apply thoughtful, values-driven criteria, not just surface-level compatibility.
  • Match Facilitation: Draft personalized introduction messages and date suggestions; coordinate logistics between matched parties; ensure both clients are fully informed and comfortable before every introduction.
  • Post-Date Follow-Up: Reach out to clients after introductions to gather feedback, assess compatibility, and adjust matching strategies accordingly. Handle sensitive conversations with tact and genuine care.
  • Client Communication & Support: Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients throughout their membership answering questions, providing encouragement, and reinforcing the values of our organization.
  • Data & Reporting: Track match outcomes, client satisfaction, and pipeline activity using our internal tools. Flag patterns or concerns to the lead matchmaker on a regular basis.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule consultations, manage calendar coordination between clients and the coaching team, and assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Community Alignment: Represent our brand with professionalism and warmth in every client touchpoint, always reflecting our Christian values of integrity, respect, and genuine care for people.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a client or customer-facing role (e.g., coaching, counselling, social work, sales, hospitality, customer success, or a related field).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills you write with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive personal topics with discretion and empathy.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, you can manage multiple clients simultaneously without anything slipping through the cracks.
  • Comfort with digital tools: CRM systems, Google Workspace, scheduling software, and basic social media platforms.
  • A genuine belief in and enthusiasm for the service we provide, you are not just doing a job; you are invested in people’s outcomes.

Compensation & Working Conditions

  • Location: Remote, candidates based anywhere in the USA or Canada are welcome to apply.
  • Hours: Flexible, with availability required for weekly team meetings, and for calls with clients and potential matches.
  • Employment Type: Part-time (10–20 hrs/week) or full-time depending on candidate availability and business needs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, sales-driven Matchmaker to join our team and help our clients navigate their journey to finding love.

Position Overview:

As a Matchmaker, you will be responsible for helping single individuals identify compatible partners based on shared values, faith, and personal preferences. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the matchmaking process while providing a personalized, empathetic experience. This is a customer-focused, high-touch role that combines sales expertise with relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for both actively sourcing and matching clients, as well as managing relationships with existing clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Sales
Actively following up with leads, conduct consultations, and convert potential clients into paying members. Use consultative sales techniques to understand client needs and explain our services.

Matchmaking & Relationship Building
Analyze client roles to make personalized match suggestions. Facilitate introductions and ongoing communication between matched individuals.

Customer Service
Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the matchmaking process. Ensure their experience is positive, while addressing any concerns or questions.

Marketing & Networking
Build and maintain relationships within the Christian community to source new clients and develop business opportunities. Attend relevant events, workshops, or networking groups to expand the company’s reach.

Database Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, preferences, and progress in the matchmaking process. Ensure client confidentiality at all times.

Results-Oriented
Regularly review client satisfaction, success stories, and client feedback to ensure we are meeting or exceeding expectations. Work toward achieving individual and team goals for matches made and client retention

Qualifications
Sales Profiency: Proven experience in sales, particularly in consultative or relationship based sales.
People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
Empathetic, patient, and able to listen attentively to clients’ needs and concerns.
Passion for Helping Others: A deep understanding of Christian values and a genuine
desire to help others and build meaningful, faith-based relationships.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to
communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and matchmaking tasks
simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM software and other tools used to manage client
roles and matchmaking activities.
Experience: Previous experience in matchmaking, relationship coaching, or other
people-oriented services is a plus, but not required.
